MDC Signaling Functions (16-channel UHF / VHF Models)

Motorola's unique MDC signaling features include Selective Call and Call Alert (Receive). In addition to radio verification (reception) and caller identification (PTT-ID) (sending), which allows efficient communication between workgroups.

Emergency Siren / Alert

A button on the top of the radio can be programmed to emit a piercing sound when pressed in an emergency. For critical emergencies, the dispatch center can be alerted. 12.5 or 25 kHz Channel Spacing Each channel can be programmed with 12.5 kHz or 25 kHz channel spacing to comply with local government regulations.

Escalert

When a selective call or call alert is not answered, the alert tone gradually increases.

Selective Automatic Group, All Groups, and System Tracking (16-channel UHF / VHF Models)

Three tracking modes allow you to monitor transmissions from various talkgroups.
